THE THREE BOYS

A story based on patience and hard work

episode 1

note: some names in this story are local names so readers should please note.

It was a very cool evening when James look around and he noticed there is no new thing around here, all has being the same from the time he was a kid to this day, he taught to himself “if I can ever make it, I will make sure that my parents enjoy me to the fullest.” No need to get surprised because James background is out of the ordinary, he has two senior brothers, and life from the day they were born to the present day is a struggle. James was still lost in deep taught when his immediate elder brother Stanley poked him and said “you lazy fellow, don’t tell me these are the little firewood you have been able to gather since you left?” James told him he was tired and ask for his help, they were still fetching when James ask Stanley “are we ever going to make it?” Stanley was lost of words and power too. It’s true they have been living in abject poverty ever since they realize they existed, their education life was a disaster but they scale through somehow, now that they are done with their studies, they need to make it, but it seems everyone seem to lose interest in them as soon as they appear looking for job, so all they do is work on their parent little farm and hope for a better brighter day which to them now seems a fairy-tale.

“Hey, you guys have better hurry up, it’s time for dinner, and you know how mom and felt if you are by the table on time” Joseph the eldest beckon on Stanley and James, so they carried the little firewood and set for home, on their way home, James ask his two brothers, “is this how we are going to stay till will grow old and die of hunger? am sure mum will be cooking the delicious meal we’ve been eating for the past three month which is not even delicious anymore”, Joseph replied “I think have got a plan”, with that they remain silent till they get home.

Joseph woke Stanley and James in the middle of the night and told them about his plan, he said he knows the so called professor who can get them charm for being rich without them getting their hands dirty. The two brothers would have rejected but since it seems that’s the only way, they agreed and set to go out the next morning. When morning comes, they told their parent that they are going out to search for job, with that, they left.

They met the prof as Joseph told them, and they explain the dilemma they have been through and begged the prof to please help them, the prof said he is going to give each of them a wish charm that can transform them into any creature they want, but before it become active, they need to make a three days journey on foot to a human part dealer who sell mostly human head, and they are to stay there for three nights and each night before sleeping each of them should hang the charm to the door post, so they thanked the prof and set off on their journey, though dangerous all they are concerned about is getting rich at all cost, “dangerous” to them now is a luxury they don’t have time for, they need to make it and they need make it fast.

Before they have time to think three days already caught up with them and they found their selves in the front of the so called Ritualist man

Joseph: good afternoon ma!

Ritualist wife: can I help you?

Joseph: we are looking for daddy.

Ritualist wife: he is not around, what message should I give him?

Joseph: don’t worry ma, we will wait!

Ritualist wife: what for? I said he is not around, don’t you love your life a bit?

Joseph: we can’t explain that now, but we will wait for him no matter long it takes for him to come back!

Ritualist wife: I don’t think he will come back until next year!

Joseph: we will wait!!!

Ritualist wife: since you insist on endangering your lives I won’t stop you. Sit!!!

Three of them: thanks ma!!!

(Recap)(Before the arrival of the three brothers)

Customer: Baba I need three fresh heads before the week runs out!

Baba: no problem, I will see what I can do, hope you know the price?

Customer: I will double the price no matter how large, just make sure I get what I want!

Baba: alright let me head out now, come back in six days, it will be ready!!!

(Back in)

After a wasteful search Baba cannot find the heads he was looking for because people are now more cautious than ever, and that has been very big frustration for him, as he was appalled still thinking of the awesome price offered he looked up and saw three boys waiting for him, he taught to himself “this is the work of the god’s, they want me to have that money no matter what”, he smiled and hastily walked inside and greeted the gentlemen, they both exchange pleasantries and Baba ask them what did they want, they told him that they just need a place to stay for three days, without any hesitation he agreed because of his evil plan.

That night they had a wonderful meal of FUFU and nice soup with fresh meat and to cap it all fresh palm wine was also served, the three brothers are very grateful because it’s been a while since they had that kind of meal, so at night, Baba showed them their room and they said thanks, and they all went to sleep, but before sleeping the eldest of the three brothers hang his charm on the door post and went to sleep.

TRUE LOVE NOW A MYTH 2

episode 2

Kingsley was a very gentle loyal guy who always believes in true love, he always dream of how he will take care of the girl who will agree to be his, he already planned on the trip the activities they will go through and how romantic it’s going to be.

(Just about two weeks later) Judith was discharged from hospital and she is ready to go, while she was strolling one afternoon she noticed someone was calling her from behind and when she stopped to look back, she saw this young vibrant gentle guy telling her to wait up, she stayed and for a moment nearly forgot her vow, but something pinched her and she remembered Alex was more gentle though not as handsome as Kingsley when she first met him. So her guards went up and she asks “how can I be of help to you?” Kingsley stammered what he got to say (you how some guys do it) and Judith thought to herself “this is a perfect opportunity to pass my first aggression” so without hesitation she agreed to Kingsley proposal and that day was a very special day him because to him this is a dream come true. They exchanged contact and everything was very perfect for like a month until when Kingsley called Judith one day.

Judith answered and says “hello I’m very busy I will call you when I’m through” and it was fine with Kingsley until he realize two days had already passed and Judith has not called back, and has not been answering her phone, so in deep worry he went to her house and that’s when reality starts to set in. Judith came out to answer the knock on her door and her face changed immediately she saw Him and she told Him “please what are you doing here, I told you I will call you when I’m through with what I’m doing, why do like to always disturb me? Please go I will call you when I’m through”.

Kingsley thought to himself and end up blaming himself for not been patient enough for her, and then another two weeks after there is still no call from her, so he called again and ask “did I do something wrong? Or why are you avoiding me?” Judith said there was nothing and that it’s because she was busy and she promised to make it up to him.

And for like a week everything went back to normal until one evening when Kingsley phone rang and when he looked it, behold her lovely Judith is calling and he picked up with a great excitement and Judith ask to see him for a very urgent matter and he felt like flying with joy. He hurriedly dressed up in a hurry and left the house to meet her.

Judith was already sitting down in the spot they were to meet when Kingsley got there, so as he sit down he ask “why do you want see me very urgently? Do you miss me?” Judith forced a smile and told him “not only that but I have some more important thing to discuss, and the main reason is… Kingsley, I’m not feeling this anymore and I want to break up with you, I want you to forget about me hence forth and don’t even ask me why because I don’t know either, all I know is I just want a space from you and that’s the main reason I called you here”. Kingsley looked into her eyes to see if she was joking and she did not even see any trace of joke there.

So all he could remember was “Kingsley, I’m not feeling this anymore and I want to break up with you GBOAM BOOM GUAM” just like a bomb blast, despite her warning he still went ahead and ask “why” and at that point Judith stand up and left the place leaving Kingsley there alone not minding if he would die or not and she felt like a queen, she felt she is in control and nothing is stopping her now she is going to make sure all men that pass through the same thing Alex made her pass through.

Kingsley woke up from his fuzzy dream and begin to realize all that just happened was real then all of a sudden he felt like crying, laughing, shouting, jumping, sitting, sleeping, running, spinning, standing still at the same time, he thought to himself that if he should go home that way he might die before getting home so he lie down there and slept off with the thought of “how will I get through this shit I got myself in?”.

Well it seems legit now Judith is feeling special and Kingsley is depressed. Before we go on with what happened to them let’s take a detour and see how Alex is faring.

TRUE LOVE NOW A MYTH

It was said that true love is real though rear, but I'm telling you true love is just a mistake people make for caring. let me give you a theory on how true love cease to exist. It's so simple. this story will compises of five episodes. leggo.

episode one

                            It was a beautiful afternoon, Judith was feeling happy uniquely, no one knows the cause but her, she is extremely in love and she felt lucky to have met such a lucky guy at an early stage of her life, she let out a sigh as she remember the past they shared and how perfect it is, the promise they made to themselves, she can even see herself carrying his baby, she can see her on the same bed with him, she even sense her cooking his dinner, the picture of how their wedding is going to look like is already in her head. Everything seems perfect and no one is stopping this now, she thought to herself. Suddenly the vibration of her phone brought her back to life and wow it was a text message from Alex saying “we need to talk babe”. She felt excited because she said to herself “wow, he is finally going propose to me after all this while, I swear I will love him for eternity”. She then dresses up to meet the love of her life.

          Things seem a little bit different when she got to his apartment and it’s all good to her, she announced her presence and He came out of the room. Alex looked a little bit intense “maybe because he his nervous on what my answer will be on the proposal” she thought to herself, then she move closer to him, gave him a hug and a kiss and ask “what is it you want to see me for?”. He said “Judith this is hard for me so I’m just going to cut the long story short, I want to break up with you because I’m not feeling this anymore, and I can’t cope with this anymore so please leave me alone”. Everything now comes in slow motion as she tries to sink what she just heard. She then asked “that joke is not funny, so please don’t crack it again” but the silence in the room brought her to her senses and she realize he is not kidding, so she ask “did I do something wrong? What have I done?” and before she could continue he silenced her and told her to leave that instant. She felt light and dammed about her life, she just wished she could just die and leave the earth for good.

          As she was lost in thought she began to feel this headache and pain in her chest, she just wished all this was a dream and she would just wake up soon. But just then she realized this is not a dream, as she was deep in thought everything seem to get darker and darker and until…

Judith woke up with a very mighty headache and realize she was on the bed, the bed was nothing compared to hers and as she manage to look around, she saw that she was in a hospital. How come she did not even know how she got here, then she remembered that she fainted and as well as the reason behind it and she begin to cry, she just want to die and get it over with. She picked up her phone to call Alex and it’s a waste of time and it makes it more painful to her. That moment she swore with her life that most men must feel what she felt this day, and she said she will make men suffer no matter what. And that day she buried her heart and made herself a complete stranger to the word love and she begin to practice how to become a real time player like Ronaldo.

And that’s where the whole story starts.
